Happy Memorial Day to all and THANK YOU to all those who have served in the military!!  My dad is retired from the Air Force, my father-in-law is retired from the Navy, two of my brothers have been in the service and now my nephew is in boot camp with the Army.  We appreciate you and all you have done in the service of your country!

We enjoyed the holiday today by putting up a vinyl swimming pool for the kids.  The kids were so excited that they just couldn't wait to get in - so we were all in and "swimming" WAY before the pool was full and ready for us.  Here we are in about ten inches of water having a blast! 



We usually go for a walk down our looooooooooooong driveway to the road (bout 1/3 of a mile there and back) each day before naptime, pick some blackberries along the way, hunt for rocks and such, but its already in the 90s here in Lower Alabama so I think we're going to be spending quite a bit of time in the pool this summer
