It's that time of year again - we're getting ready for the annual Christmas card picture and once again its been unbelievably difficult to find matching outfits that will work for everyone.  I think we're even going to get brave this year and try to be in the picture with the kids.  We always have to have at least one adult present for each kid, but no matter what its always a show.  Last year we couldn't even get all the kids together in one photo, they bickered and cried and were alternately shy then rambunctious.  Before it was over the photographer even tripped over our oldest, landed on him and gave him a bloody nose   The year before that things were so crazy in the tiny space they use that my dad actually tried to hand one of the girls to a passing stranger.

We may be wrong, but we're hoping that by being in the picture with them this year it might be a little bit easier to keep them all seated and maybe even smiling at the same time
